Solace
Southern Woods Cult
GENRE Dew reflecting early morning
Peace at last, the woods are thriving
Almost home, once more we’re festive
In this solstice, we have solace
Leaves blow down the cobbled streets
So gently moving with the breeze
People laugh and share their dreams
At oaken tables while they drink
Trees have finished turning green
This day we thought we’d never see
(Humming)
No one will bе paying attention as the sun begins to sеt
(Humming)
The moon comes out, the town’s alight
They dance and sing to their delight
You’d never think they would have known
That they just lost one of their own
The windows shine so very bright
An air of life pierces the night
The burrow glows with soothing calm
We only wish it would stay longer
Revelry is hardly strange for rabbits when the seasons change
Night is young, or so they say, but this one’s gone the way it came
Gravity from all our actions weighs on us on nights like this
Who would run away especially now that we have solace?
Good night
Sleep tight
Peace at last, the woods are thriving
Almost home, once more we’re festive
In this solstice, we have solace
Leaves blow down the cobbled streets
So gently moving with the breeze
People laugh and share their dreams
At oaken tables while they drink
